Rick Lifsitz has over 20 years of operating and consulting experience in leading start-up, mid-market and Fortune 500 healthcare and technology companies. He began his consulting career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he focused on corporate strategy and re-engineering assignments.
He left BCG to start a successful Internet company, e-Travel, which he later sold to Oracle. He went on to start another venture-backed technology firm, DataPower Technology, which today is the leader in its product category. Most recently, Mr. Lifsitz was a senior executive with AMICAS (Nasdaq: AMCS), helping to build the first web-based Picture and Archiving Communications System (“Vision Series”). Following the successful introduction of this product line, he went on to run the Company’s business development activities. In this role Mr. Lifsitz formed partnerships with MEDITECH, Dictaphone, Voxar, Dell, and Heartlab to broaden the Company’s distribution and provide new product capabilities to the Company’s installed base. The success of the Vision Series PACS led to the Company’s “reverse public merger.”
Mr. Lifsitz holds a BA from The University of Michigan, where he graduated with honors and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
