Karen Donovan has held several senior strategic and operating roles at healthcare services, healthcare software, and consulting firms. She began her career at The LEK Partnership, where she led strategic development projects, M&A screenings, and competitive benchmarking for managed care, healthcare services, medical technology, and diagnostics clients. As Director of Strategic Development at VITAS Healthcare, she helped develop clinical, financial, and operating software systems and best practices across 31 locations. As VP of Operations at CareTools, an enterprise-wide healthcare software company, Karen oversaw customer sales and systems implementations. As an independent consultant, she has provided strategic expertise to investment, healthcare services, healthcare IT, and pharmaceutical clients.
Karen has a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was on the Dean’s List.
