One more drink?

One more drink?

Good news for longevity-seeking gluttons. Resveratrol, a substance found in red wine, may stave off the effects of aging in the obese, according to a new study in mice. The bad news: you'd have to drink more than 300 glasses a day to achieve the desired effect. Good luck!

Sirtris, a biopharma company founded by one of the study'’s authors is trying to develop a drug based on resveratrol.

Funny!!! The substance which afford this effect is called OPC. It´s in a thin skin arround the core of the core of the grape, protecting it. The same substance you find in the brown skin of peanuts, between the nut shell and the nut. This skin everyone throws away does the same. So you can eat it. But you have to eat 5 Kilogramms a Day!!!!!! But not 5kg of nuts, of the skin.
Bon appetite...
